The Vitodens  050-W is ideal for modernising apartments or detached houses. It is offered with two output ratings (3.2 to 19 and 3.2 to 25  kW) as a system and combi boiler (with integral instantaneous water heater).

Among the benefits of the MatriX-Plus burner are its efficient operation, quiet running and low emissions.  The special stainless steel MatriX surface is resistant to high temperatures, which ensures reliable performance and a long service life.  

Another technical innovation is the Lambda Pro fully automatic combustion controller. It automatically adapts to all gas types and ensures consistently clean and efficient combustion.

Stainless steel makes all the difference. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel Inox-Radial heat exchanger is at the heart of the Vitodens 050-W. It converts the consumed energy into heat very efficiently. In addition, the particularly durable, high grade stainless steel ensures reliability.

Easy operation with optional remote control

The heating water and DHW temperatures can be set quickly with the user friendly buttons. Operating states and temperatures are shown on the digital display screen.

Energy savings, convenience and security with ViCare

Vitodens 050-W wall mounted gas condensing boilers with the new electronic platform have an integral WiFi interface, depending on the version. This connects the heating system directly to the internet if required. Operating the heating system is very simple and intuitive with the ViCare app. It sets the course for digital services and is in direct contact with the local heating contractor. The ViCare app provides information on the current operating status of the energy system, while time programs for central heating and DHW heating contribute to energy cost savings. It is compatible with almost all iOS and Android mobile devices.

Depending on the version, the control unit is available with or without an integral WiFi interface.

ViCare thermostat:  convenient individual room control

By hooking up the high quality ViCare thermostat developed for use with Viessmann heating systems, the room temperature can be conveniently controlled via the app.  In addition, the boiler water temperature is automatically matched to the heat demand, which saves energy and extends service life.
